About
Welcome to the Food Standards Agency’s data standards and codelist registry. To create better digital services we need clear, consistent, and well defined ways to describe and catalogue the data we use on a day-to-day basis. This service is an open register of the data standards and codes we use to describe food, the way our organisation fits together, and how we describe hazards like allergens. It is available for you to reuse for free.
Whilst this data is primarily of interest to developers working with the FSA or our data, we welcome any feedback. Please note that many of these registers are listed as experimental at this time, and should be treated as such.
