- Bacillus velezensis DSM 15544 (formerly Bacillus subtilis C-3102) (Calsporin®) is submitted as a Zootechnical feed additive under the functional group of gut flora stabilisers. This is an application for a renewal of feed additive authorisation and new use in extending to all poultry and avian species. The modification to authorisation concerns the recognised change in name of the bacterial strain from Bacillus subtilis to Bacillus velezensis.
