A rolling 12 months of time recording by Official Veterinarians and Meat Hygiene Inspectors in approved meat premises on the FSA electronic time recording system and broken down by month.

The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme Audit and Business Survey is an annual piece of research conducted across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is a dual strand piece of research involving a covert audit of businesses to look at rates of FHRS display, and a telephone survey to explore business attitudes and awareness towards the scheme. The data to be published is the individual country weighted data tables for the 2024 wave of the research.

Food hygiene rating or inspection results given to a businesses and date of inspection or visit by the local authority. Businesses include restaurants, pubs, cafés, takeaways, hotels and other places consumers eat, as well as in supermarkets and other food shops. The data is held on behalf of local authorities participating in the FSA's national food hygiene rating schemes.

All outside appointments or employment taken up by former Food Standards Agency staff at senior civil service levels SCS1 and SCS2.

This dataset contains registers that enable and standardise the Food Standards Delivery Model and will be used by Local Authorities to capture data in a consistent way.

A list of companies exporting to the European Union currently made subject by the European Commission to Intensified Official Controls (those with the statuses ‘Active’, ‘Imposing checks’ or ‘New’ in the Intensified Official Controls part of the TRACES/TRACES NT system). It is possible that certain companies who have recently been made subject to checks and have yet to have a check carried out on them may not be on this list.

This document describes the data standard for submitting food sampling results data to the Food Standards Agency. It describes the fields, their data types and order as well as providing specific guidance on acceptable values and which fields use specific reference data values.
