Characteristics
The genetically modified maize DP-ØØ4114-3 expresses the pat gene, which confers tolerance to glufosinate ammonium-based herbicides and the cry1F, the cry34Ab1 and cry35Ab1 genes, which confer resistance to certain lepidopteran and certain coleopteran pests.
The genetically modified maize MON-ØØ81Ø-6 expresses the cry1Ab gene, which confers resistance to certain lepidopteran pests.
The genetically modified maize SYN-IR6Ø4-5 expresses the mcry3A gene, which confers resistance to certain coleopeteran pests. In addition, the pmi gene, coding for the PMI protein, was used as a selection marker in the genetic modification process.
The genetically modified maize MON-ØØ6Ø3-6 expresses the CP4 epsps and the CP4 epsps L214P genes, which confer tolerance to glyphosate-based herbicides.
