- Characteristics
- GMB151 soybean is modified by the addition of the cry14Ab-1.b and hppdPf-4Pa gene cassettes. The Cry14Ab-1 protein confers resistance to soybean cyst nematode (SCN). The HPPD-4 protein is a modified form of the 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase gene from P. fluorescens, which confers tolerance to HPPD (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase) inhibitor herbicides such as isoxaflutole.
- Detection method
- The method is set out in the document entitled “Event-specific Method for the Quantification of soybean GMB151 by Real-time PCR”, reference “EURL-VL-01/18VP” and published 23 July 2020. Validated by the EU Reference Laboratory established under Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003, published at https://gmo-crl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/method-validations
