- This genetically modified maize was developed by combining a set of four single maize events (MON-87427-7 × MON-89Ø34-3 × SYN-IR162-4 × MON-ØØ6Ø3-6) by conventional crossing into combinations that may express: CP4 EPSPS protein, Cry1A.105 protein, Cry2Ab2 protein, Vip3Aa20 protein, PMI protein, CP4 EPSPS protein and its variant CP4 EPSPS L214P; to confer resistance to certain lepidopteran pests and tolerance to glyphosate-containing herbicides.
