Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 12 June 2025. It was last reviewed on 12 June 2025.

This website was last tested in October 2024. The test was carried out by a third party on behalf of the Food Standards Agency.

We evaluated the website’s accessibility by testing key user journeys using a range of tools and methods. Primary tools included Wave, Lighthouse, Colour Checker and IBM Equal Access for comprehensive assessments. Additional testing involved the Open CC Checker plugin, Chrome High Contrast extension, and zooming to 400% to simulate magnification without relying on the magnifier. Screen reader compatibility was verified using the Screen Reader Chrome extension, Apple VoiceOver, and NVDA on selected service pages and key navigation paths via AssistiveLabs.
