FSA audits local authorities' food and feed controls enforcement services and provides reports highlighting improvements and good practice. Audits examine Port Health Authority (PHA) and Local Authority (LA) systems and procedures for control of imported food and where relevant imported feed.

FSA Audit Reports and Action Plans of Local Authorities (LA) which ensure the LA has controls in place to deal with incidents and alerts with reference to a Framework Agreement Standard and the Food Law Code of Practice (FLCoP).
